Aine Delaney, SRN – Acupuncturist, Midwife, Registered Nurse
Aine is a registered acupuncturist with qualifications in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland, and post graduate training from Nanjing University in China.
Prior to this, Aine practised nursing and midwifery in Ireland and South Africa. While living in the United States, she graduated in Acupuncture from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, Chicago and successfully passed the American State Board Examinations.
Aine has over 30 years of experience in the field of acupuncture and has gained extensive clinical experience with many medical and pain conditions. She has worked as an Acupuncturist in the Sims Fertility Clinic in Dublin, supporting couples undergoing fertility treatment and now helps couples with fertility issues in her clinic in Galway City. She is a professional member of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland and holds the position of Treasurer of the ACI.
Bernie Doyle – Acupuncturist & Naturopath
Bernie qualified as an Acupuncturist and Naturopath from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2010. She subsequently travelled to China and completed a clinical internship programme with the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hangzhou, China. Here she studied in a very busy outpatient department in the hospital, where they treated people for a variety of conditions with acupuncture.
Bernie believes that ill health can be as a result of an imbalance in the body and acupuncture together with lifestyle changes can restore the body back to wellbeing.
Women’s health is of particular interest to Bernie, she has completed post graduate training in this area including attending Zita West training in London. She also completed a Diploma in TCM Gynaecology and Obstetrics – Acupuncture, awarded by Dr Trevor Wing of the Woman’s Natural Health Practice in the UK.
Astrid Borgman – Amatsu Orthopath
Astrid is a qualified and experienced Amatsu Orthopath (Master Practitioner) having completed four years of training with Daghda Synergy Amatsu Therapy Academy and a further two years in England with Dennis Bartram, the western father of modern Amatsu.
She is a registered member of the Amatsu Therapy Association (ATA), Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue Therapists of Ireland (ROSTI) and the GRCCT (General Regulatory Council for Complementary Therapies). Amatsu treatments are covered by private health insurance.
Astrid is focused on empowering her clients to positively engage in their own health and healing with a specific emphasis on the importance of healthy movement and correct alignment.
She regularly participates in postgraduate CPDs in Ireland and the UK and also holds a higher diploma in Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue Therapy, is a qualified yoga teacher, Reiki Master, NLP practitioner and holds an undergraduate Sports degree from the University of Hamburg.
Niamh Burke – Nutritionist
Niamh is a Nutritional Therapist living in Galway city. She specialises in the area of female health and hormones including supporting women with PCOS, endometriosis and perimenopause.
She has done additional training in the area of the reproductive microbiome and it’s link to successful birth outcomes. She is currently working with individuals and couples to support them through their fertility journey, whether that’s natural or assisted. It takes 3 to make a baby – balanced hormones, a healthy egg + sperm quality and a healthy environment for the baby to grow in. When working with clients Niamh takes all these areas into consideration. As part of the Preparing for Pregnancy program offered at the Crane Clinic, Niamh provides a nutrition and lifestyle plan to ensure the best nutrition for maternal and foetal health is achieved.

Sharon Burke – Nutritional Therapist
Sharon is a Nutritional Therapist, qualified from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM). She specialises in gut health and weight management, helping clients restore digestive balance, improve overall well-being, and achieve sustainable weight goals.
With a holistic and evidence-based approach, Sharon works with individuals to identify the root causes of their health concerns, offering tailored nutrition and lifestyle plans to support long-term wellness. She is passionate about empowering clients with the knowledge and tools they need to make lasting changes.

Deirdre Boylan – Licensed Acupuncturist
Diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Certificate in Clinical Medicine, Certified Yoga Teacher (500 hours). Registered Member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association.
Deirdre’s fascination with acupuncture began in 2012 when she saw the effects of acupressure during yoga teacher training in Australia. She then experienced its first hand magic in her pregnancy journey with her second child, which prompted her to study TCM in more depth.
Deirdre studied at the International Academy of TCM in Canada, and more recently at the Landsdowne College of Acupuncture and Complementary Medicine in Dublin.
Deirdre believes great healing comes from addressing the emotional and energetic aspects of well-being- something that can’t be obtained when we concentrate solely on the physical. Known for her compassionate care and patient-centred approach, Deirdre provides personalised treatments in a calm, supportive environment that promotes balance and long-term health.

Dr. Suraya Diaz – Certified Naturopath, Nutritionist and Herbalist Consultant
Dr. Diaz, with a lifelong commitment to health and science, has worked to combine her scientific research with complementary medicine.
She received her doctorate in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from one of the world’s leading universities (University College London). While excelling in medical scientific research, Dr. Diaz also went on to follow her passion for complementary medicine by establishing herself as a certified Naturopath, Nutritionist and Herbalist consultant.
Following her years of scientific research and studies in the various medical sciences, Dr. Diaz has become a leader in the field of consultancy and product formulation using an integrated Functional Medicine approach.
